Jelly Crunch Bars (vegan)

Yet another vegan dessert :) raspberry and kiwi jelly with a layer of raw chocolate crunch on the bottom! Many of you guys are interested in the recipe so here it is! I used agar agar aka vegan gelatine. In singapore it's really easy to find as it's kind of like our local jelly. Agar agar is Malay for Jelly Jelly after all. It's made from seaweed! Hope you guys enjoy this recipe :) 

What you'll need 
Crust: 
1/4 cup walnuts 
1/2 cup oats 
8 pitted dates (1/2 cup) 
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp water

Jelly
1 tbsp agar agar powder 
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp maple syrup 
1/2 cup raspberry purée
1/2 cup kiwi purée

How to
1. Blend crust ingredients together well and press into a loaf pan lined with wax paper. Place in the freezer.
2. Stir agar agar powder in milk and maple syrup. 
3. Divide into two portions. Mix the first portion with the kiwi and the second portion with the raspberry. 
4. Simmer the kiwi mixture for 2-5 min until agar agar has dissolved. Pour the kiwi mixture over the crust and set in the fridge for 20min or until it firms up. 
5. Simmer the raspberry mixture for 2-5 min until agar agar has dissolved. Then pour the raspberry mixture over the kiwi mixture and set for 20min. 
6. Slice into 10 squares and serve!
