Apple pie in an apple! So simple and delicious I think I'm in love. And it's been so cold lately a warm breakfast is really welcome. Well healthy apple pie is always welcome if you ask me!

This is so easy and you probably have the ingredients in your kitchen already so please try this out!

Like a bowling ball ahahaha

Ingredients
1/8 cup wholemeal flour
1/2 tbsp coconut oil (can sub with other oil)
1/2 tbsp honey
1/2 tbsp water
1 small apple (I used organic Fiji apples)
1/3 tsp cinnamon
4 drops liquid stevia (can sub with a tsp honey)

Method
1. Mix wholemeal flour well with coconut oil and honey. Then add water and form a dough ball. Keep in the fridge.
2. Cut the top half off the apple. Core the apple. And chop up the insides!
3. Mix the apple innards with cinnamon and liquid stevia. Stuff back into the apple. You may not be able to fit it all back in but that's okay ^.^ just eat up the extras heh.
Preheat oven to 180C
4. Roll out your dough ball into a circle of about 8cm in diameter. Seal the top of the apple with dough. Press around the edges off the apple to make sure it's secure!
5. Poke holes in the top using a tooth pick. Bake for about 25min.
6. Slice in half and enjoy eating with your hands ~ it will get messy!

Now that I think about it, I think baking it at a higher temp for a shorter time is better cos the crust will be more brown? Also you can brush the top with egg wash to help get it golden brown, but it'll be a waste of egg because you'll only use so little of it!
